Automotive (Mechanical) Claims Adjuster

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming claims calls and identify customer contract information
• Review incoming claims and request additional documentation or inspections
• Ensure all authorized claims are approved by appropriate parties
• Manage escalated cases, disputes, or complaints effectively
• Maintain Key Performance Indicators including claims audits and contact center adherence
• Provide claim status updates and communicate new claims web instructions

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong mathematical aptitude
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and handle interruptions

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of automotive claims experience for a warranty company
• Minimum of three years of experience in an automotive dealership or repair facility
• Automotive Technical degree or equivalent experience
• ASE Certification
• Experience in mechanical inspections
• Experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Advisor
• Typing speed of at least 30 WPM
