Backend Developer - Integrations

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-performance APIs and microservices in Go to connect Yuno's platform to global payment providers
• Take end-to-end ownership of features and integrations, from design to production rollout and monitoring
• Develop and extend integration frameworks for payment processing, fraud detection, and authentication flows
• Apply secure software development practices, including OWASP standards and data privacy requirements
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude) to improve coding, testing, and documentation speed
• Collaborate with Product, Compliance, and Business teams to translate complex payment problems into technical solutions

Requirements

• Solid backend engineering experience building high-throughput systems in Golang
• Strong understanding of microservices, event-driven architectures, and integration patterns
• Proficiency with SQL and relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of secure software development practices and OWASP principles
• Experience with unit testing and Git-based workflows
• Comfort integrating AI-assisted development tools into your daily engineering workflow
• Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the payments industry or integrating with Payment Service Providers (PSPs)
• Hands-on experience with cloud and DevOps environments such as AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes
