Backend Java Tech Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead a squad technically, defining architecture and development patterns for critical backend systems
• Conduct code reviews, define versioning guidelines, and ensure advanced Git practices
• Design, implement, and maintain complex CI/CD pipelines using AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Ensure application of security standards, OAuth2 authentication, monitoring, and observability via Grafana
• Make technical decisions based on trade-offs in algorithms, data structures, and high-load performance
• Drive the use of generative AI (Copilot, Claude Code) to increase team productivity

Requirements

• Advanced mastery of Java (Spring Boot) and PostgreSQL
• Solid experience with Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, and AWS services (ECS, RDS, ALB/NLB, S3, Bedrock)
• Implementation of CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
• Definition and application of RESTful API patterns, OAuth2, and Kafka messaging
• Advanced knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and security practices
• Practical experience with monitoring, logging, and observability (Grafana)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with canary or blue-green deployment strategies
• Experience with machine learning projects for backend automation or optimization
• Knowledge of test automation for complex CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with advanced observability tools like Prometheus or New Relic
• Adoption or customization of generative AI platforms in the development lifecycle
