Responsibilities

• Design and execute experimental studies and surveys using quantitative and qualitative methodologies
• Lead complex data gathering initiatives including long-form qualitative interviews and focus groups
• Apply advanced statistical knowledge to large datasets and utilize data visualization
• Lead product and program evaluations to assess impact and efficacy
• Author and co-author academic papers, journal articles, curriculum standards, white papers, and books
• Collaborate with the Books & Reports squad to ensure research aligns with publication goals

Requirements

• PhD or Master’s degree in Sociology, Economics, Epidemiology, Psychology, Criminology, Islamic Studies, or Education
• Strong proficiency in statistical software such as Stata, SPSS, MPlus, R, or Python
• Expertise in using Qualtrics for survey design
• Experience with Shamela or Academic Libraries for literature reviews
• Foundational understanding of Islamic ideas, concepts, values, and principles
• Demonstrated ability to produce work meeting peer-review academic standards
