Blockchain Protocol Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build next-generation digital infrastructures and blockchain systems
• Maintain system performance using GoLang, C++, or LLVM
• Develop smart contracts using Solidity or Serpent
• Work with distributed systems, P2P networking, and various consensus methodologies
• Ensure high-quality, scalable, and fault-tolerant product features

Requirements

• Proficiency in GoLang, C++, or LLVM
• Experience with smart contract development (Solidity, Serpent)
• Understanding of cryptography (Asymmetric, Symmetric, Hash functions, ECDSA, etc.)
• Knowledge of P2P networking and distributed systems
• Familiarity with consensus methodologies like PoS, DPoS, PoW, or Tendermint
• Versatility across the web stack including Linux, TCP/IP, and HTTP
• Strong written communication skills in English
• Ability to work in an asynchronous, distributed environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MongoDB, ReThinkDB, or Kafka
• Deep understanding of advanced technological architectures and their impact on performance
