Brand & UI Design Contractor

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with UX Strategists and UI Designers to create visually distinctive, user-centered websites
• Design responsive desktop/mobile block layouts in Figma using Propel 4.0, including variables, Auto Layout, and components
• Work within Figma variable collections and modes to customize styling values within a proprietary design system
• Apply visual design principles including typography, hierarchy, composition, and imagery
• Incorporate AI tools such as Claude and Figma Agents into the design process
• Assemble polished desktop/mobile prototypes in Figma for reviews and presentations
• Prepare organized, dev-ready files with annotations and interaction guidance
• Participate in weekly client calls to communicate design decisions and progress

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in UI, visual design, and branding
• Agency or consulting environment experience preferred
• Impressive portfolio demonstrating website design, UI, and visual identity systems
• Expert proficiency in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop
• Solid grounding in UX/UI methodology, user flows, and interactive prototypes
• Strong command of grids, spacing, hierarchy, and composition
• Ability to work independently with light oversight and fast turnaround
• Excellent communication skills for async feedback and client-facing conversations
