Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive growth across the HMI/SCADA business, focusing on SCADA, Gas Measurement, Liquids Pipeline Operations, and Pipeline Simulation solutions
• Provide pipeline domain expertise to support Sales in identifying, qualifying, and closing new business
• Position AVEVA as a strategic partner in pipeline operations, optimization, and digital transformation
• Manage new business pipeline growth within Salesforce
• Contribute to closing new pipeline-related opportunities and improving win rates
• Execute strategic account penetration within pipeline operators

Requirements

• 5+ years in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management in industrial software or energy
• Deep understanding of pipeline operations, including gas transmission, liquids/crude pipelines, and compressor/pump station operations
• Expertise in SCADA systems and pipeline monitoring/control
• Familiarity with gas measurement, custody transfer, and liquids pipeline operations
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Experience in C-level and solution selling
• Degree in engineering, business, or a related discipline preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical understanding of pipeline operations environments, including control rooms and field operations
• Knowledge of pipeline simulation, real-time transient models, and leak detection
• Ability to bridge technical solutions with commercial outcomes
