Job description
Responsibilities
- Conduct a mix of cold outreach and follow-up on warm leads via phone, email, and social media
- Cultivate new prospects and build a sales pipeline through outbound prospecting efforts
- Engage with C-level executives and decision-makers at mid-sized to large businesses
- Assist sales counterparts by delivering qualified leads to help achieve revenue objectives
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly scorecard metrics, including calls scheduled and qualified opportunities
- Perform market research to support Territory Managers in the field
- Maintain accurate data entry within the customer relationship management (CRM) software
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in customer service, call center, or inside sales
- 1+ year of experience in manufacturing, distribution, retail, lumber, or auto industries
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an excellent phone manner
- Foundational knowledge of marketing and sales processes
- Bachelor's degree preferred (Business Management or Marketing is a plus)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in telephone sales or solution selling within the software industry
- Proven track record of attaining quota goals
- Experience managing leads through preliminary sales stages
