Job description

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a mix of cold outreach and follow-up on warm leads via phone, email, and social media
  • Cultivate new prospects and build a sales pipeline through outbound prospecting efforts
  • Engage with C-level executives and decision-makers at mid-sized to large businesses
  • Assist sales counterparts by delivering qualified leads to help achieve revenue objectives
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly scorecard metrics, including calls scheduled and qualified opportunities
  • Perform market research to support Territory Managers in the field
  • Maintain accurate data entry within the customer relationship management (CRM) software

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in customer service, call center, or inside sales
  • 1+ year of experience in manufacturing, distribution, retail, lumber, or auto industries
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an excellent phone manner
  • Foundational knowledge of marketing and sales processes
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Business Management or Marketing is a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in telephone sales or solution selling within the software industry
  • Proven track record of attaining quota goals
  • Experience managing leads through preliminary sales stages
