Business Systems Analyst

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination with customers to elicit and translate business needs into detailed functional requirements
• Collaborate with development teams to design and transition functional requirements into technical solutions
• Develop trusting relationships with customers to support enhancement requests and system-related issues
• Test user stories and ensure all acceptance criteria are met, including running queries to validate data
• Work within an agile environment following sprint commitments and release schedules
• Define the scope and objectives of moderately complex system-related projects using research and fact-finding techniques
• Coordinate updates to critical system data elements and configurable applications
• Prepare end-user procedures and manuals and provide training for new system functionality

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a relatable position
• Experience working with business units to define needs and document consequences of change
• Experience collaborating with internal IT teams to design application solutions
• Ability to travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile methodology and transforming complex problems into stories
• Working knowledge of SQL, C#, or JS
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, Contact Center Technology, Application Extender, CMOD, APIM, HP Exstream, or Microsoft Power BI
• Understanding of moderately complex data structures and database schemas
