CCUS Reservoir Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply reservoir simulation models to evaluate CO₂ injection performance, plume migration, and long-term containment
• Support development of Engineering Well Designs (EWDs) for CO₂ injection and monitoring wells
• Provide technical reservoir engineering evaluations for CCUS project screening and feasibility assessments
• Analyze field test data, injection performance, and pressure transient behavior to calibrate models
• Quantify and update CO₂ storage capacity, reserves, and resource estimates
• Lead reservoir modeling and simulation efforts for Class II enhanced recovery projects in Marcellus and Utica reservoirs
• Collaborate with Geoscience, Completions, and Reservoir Engineering teams to improve subsurface understanding
• Interface with external technical consultants and industry partners on subsurface evaluations

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of reservoir engineering experience
• Expertise in reservoir simulation, forecasting, and subsurface analysis
• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering field
• Experience with dynamic simulation tools and integrated reservoir characterization workflows
• Experience supporting injection well design and injectivity evaluation

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field
• Direct experience with CO₂ storage, enhanced recovery, or gas reservoir development
• Background in reservoir modeling for Class II and/or Class VI applications
• Familiarity with the Class VI permitting process and technical documentation requirements
