CDI Enablement Manager

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted, intervention-based education to providers using performance data
• Facilitate one-on-one coaching sessions on ICD-10-CM specificity and clinical scenarios
• Design and maintain practice-specific education plans based on coding data and RAF trends
• Build and maintain the CDI clinical content library, including condition-specific advisories and tip sheets
• Conduct concurrent documentation reviews to evaluate clinical support for active diagnoses
• Review coding outputs against clinical documentation to assess accuracy and completeness
• Partner with RMOs and medical directors to align education with population health priorities

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in clinical documentation integrity, coding operations, or risk adjustment
• Active CRC (Certified Risk Coder) certification
• Active CPC, CCS, CDEO, CDIP, or CCDS-O certification
• Strong knowledge of risk adjustment coding methodology (v24/v28) and CMS standards
• Experience delivering provider education in an ambulatory or value-based care setting
• Proven ability to communicate complex clinical and coding concepts to providers

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure
• Experience with AI-assisted suspecting tools or NLP-based CDI platforms
• Background in ambulatory CDI or outpatient risk adjustment
• Experience working in Medicare Advantage, ACO REACH, or MSSP environments
