Clinical Operations Specialist (LPN)

Responsibilities

• Optimize and develop clinical workflows to support clinician and patient experience
• Develop mastery using EHR systems and internal tools to create best in class clinical processes
• Receive, monitor, and analyze incoming lab results daily and follow escalation procedures
• Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to enable lab and imaging services delivery
• Monitor clinic phone handling patient, clinician, lab, and pharmacy calls
• Work with pharmacy, insurance, and enterprise partners to resolve escalated issues
• Participate in required on-call shifts monitoring the Critical Lab Phone Line (24/7)
• Prepare prior authorization requests and process EMR requests

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with an active MN license and compact license
• At least 5 years of experience in healthcare operations
• Experience in telemedicine
• Ability to work Tuesday-Saturday, 9:00a-5:00p CT
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and on-call shifts
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Epic EMR
