Colleague Technical Consultant

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure Colleague software suite and connected applications
• Consult with clients to align solutions with business processes
• Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for Ellucian Colleague systems
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and milestones
• Offer innovative solutions to technical requests on the Colleague software suite

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Colleague's functional and technical aspects
• Ability to work with or learn Envision and UniBasic for Colleague programming
• Familiarity with JavaScript, React, PostgreSQL, and other modern tools
• Understanding of APIs, JSON, XML, and data mappings
• Experience with Colleague system administration, setup, and proactive monitoring
• Proficiency in Colleague Self-Service, Envision, Workflow, ELF programming, and Colleague Studio
• Strong communication and customer-centric problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with data migration and conversion for SaaS migrations
• Advanced SQL skills for data queries and reporting
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting API integrations (REST, SOAP)
• Experience with cloud technologies like Azure or AWS
• Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) implementation
• Expertise in Ellucian Experience, Data Connect, Intelligent Processes, Insights, and ILP
