Configuration Manager

Responsibilities

• Accountable for Service Configuration Management and the CMDB
• Define, execute, monitor, and continuously improve the Service Configuration Management practice
• Establish, track, and report on Service Configuration Management and CMDB KPIs
• Ensure the CMDB contains accurate and up-to-date information
• Maintain and update service trees
• Ensure processes and the CMDB are accurately reflected in the ITSM solution
• Prepare and maintain policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Contribute to the implementation and improvement of other ITIL practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of IT experience
• 2 years in a similar role or relevant project experience
• Strong practical knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM)
• Proven experience in defining, implementing, and documenting Service Configuration Management practices
• Hands-on experience managing and governing a CMDB and CI lifecycle
• Experience integrating CMDB with Change Enablement and other ITSM processes
• Knowledge of data source management, automated discovery, and CMDB integrations
• Experience with CMDB reporting, auditing, and ServiceNow Configuration Management/CMDB
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
