Job description

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and manage complex renal conditions
  • Lead diagnostic workups including interpretation of laboratory and imaging studies
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic kidney diseases
  • Supervise and manage dialysis programs and post-transplant care
  • Engage in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, residents, and fellows
  • Participate in clinical research and contribute to scientific publications
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care

Requirements

  • Board certification or equivalent qualification in Nephrology
  • Proven experience in clinical nephrology within a tertiary or academic healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of renal pathophysiology, diagnostics, and treatment modalities
  • Experience managing dialysis and renal transplant patients
  • Demonstrated ability to teach and mentor medical students and trainees
  • Active involvement or interest in clinical research within nephrology
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
