About the Company

We partner with small and medium-sized businesses to make retirement savings affordable and accessible, helping close the retirement gap for millions of Americans.

Responsibilities

  • Support corporate governance for Human Interest Inc. and its subsidiaries
  • Manage board and stockholder actions and oversee cap table and equity matters
  • Partner with Finance and People teams on executive compensation and equity administration
  • Support corporate finance activities and IPO readiness
  • Manage outside counsel on complex transactions
  • Lead the negotiation and execution of commercial agreements
  • Support M&A and strategic transactions
  • Build scalable legal processes and playbooks

Requirements

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active member of at least one U.S. state bar
  • 4+ years of corporate and securities experience
  • In-house experience at a high-growth company
  • Experience with equity administration and corporate governance for multi-entity structures
  • Experience with sophisticated financing arrangements
