Cybersecurity Consultant

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement effective cybersecurity strategies, frameworks, and roadmaps
• Design and implement advanced security controls and technologies including SIEM, DLP, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
• Provide expertise in designing secure systems, networks, and cloud environments
• Lead and manage complex cybersecurity projects to ensure timely and quality delivery
• Act as a trusted advisor to maintain strong client relationships and address concerns
• Conduct research on emerging threats and contribute to thought leadership initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT audit, or a related role
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices
• Proficiency in network and system security concepts and secure architecture design
• Strong project management and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to apply industry standards such as CIS, NIST, PCI, and HIPAA
• Expertise in Microsoft Cloud (Azure, M365) and security tools like Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and Entra
• Experience with IAM, PAM, SIEM, and SOAR solutions
• Proficiency in DevOps/SecDevOps practices including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting
• Familiarity with data management tools like ELK Stack, SQL, or NoSQL
