Danish Tech Linguistic Tester

Responsibilities

• Proofread and edit localized content in Danish to ensure linguistic accuracy, including grammar, syntax, and punctuation
• Evaluate translations within the context of software, mobile apps, and documentation
• Discover, write, and report bugs and functional UI issues using internal database systems and client-specific tracking tools
• Adhere to project-specific quality standards, style guides, trademarks, and glossaries
• Act as a subject matter expert for linguistic issues in Danish, researching and resolving complex language questions
• Complete assigned testing tasks and QA processes in a timely manner following specific test cases

Requirements

• Native-level or fully bilingual fluency in Danish (both spoken and written)
• Strong English language skills, both written and verbal
• 3+ years of professional translation and localization experience
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with iOS and Android operating systems
• Basic knowledge of PC hardware and ability to navigate various web browsers
• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Localization QA or professional translation
• Advanced computer skills and familiarity with consumer utility devices (messaging, health, fitness, etc.)
• Avid user of social media and familiarity with the Facebook family of apps
