Job description

Responsibilities

  • Gather, interpret, and analyze large, complex datasets from various sources including databases, APIs, and spreadsheets
  • Perform data cleaning and preprocessing to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness
  • Apply statistical techniques and analytical methods to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights
  • Design, build, and maintain visual representations of data through charts, graphs, and dashboards using tools like SnowSight and Power BI
  • Implement data governance and quality assurance procedures to ensure data integrity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide analytical support
  • Summarize and present findings to non-technical stakeholders through clear reports and presentations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, or computer science
  • 8+ years of experience in data analytics, focusing on business intelligence and data visualization
  • 5+ years of real-world data engineering development experience in Snowflake
  • Proficiency in DBT and Snowflake services (SnowSight, Snowpipe, stages, stored procedures, etc.)
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with complex datasets and Enterprise Data Warehouses
  • Proven experience with data modeling and schema design
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
