Data Governance Analyst

Responsibilities

• Document, assess, and synthesize business requirements to advance data governance and stewardship capabilities
• Serve as a liaison to Business Data Stewards, providing mentorship on governance processes and best practices
• Establish standards and provide training on data governance technologies, specifically data glossary and catalog tools
• Utilize data quality technology to design rules, mappings, and transformations to improve data quality
• Create and execute workflows to automate data quality procedures and escalate exceptions
• Develop KPIs and dashboards to measure the success and ROI of the data governance program
• Maintain data governance deliverables including policies, standards, and decision frameworks

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
• 5+ years of experience working with large enterprises
• Experience with business glossaries, data standards, and data quality
• Consulting experience
• Ability to elicit requirements and analyze existing client practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead and manage meetings
• SQL knowledge is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience with data flow diagrams and business process modeling
