Data Scientist I

Responsibilities

• Work with the Data Science team and business areas to develop analytical solutions that generate real impact
• Actively participate in building and evolving predictive indicators, machine learning models, and AI applications for pricing, credit, collection, and fraud prevention
• Support continuous monitoring and evolution of production solutions to ensure they meet stakeholder needs
• Collaborate with different areas to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions
• Maintain organization of routines and documentation for proposed solutions

Requirements

• Strong conceptual and practical foundation in statistics and Machine Learning algorithms
• Technical fluency in Python and SQL
• Strong analytical capacity and intellectual curiosity
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Proactive and organized profile with a high willingness to learn

Preferred Qualifications

• Academic or professional experience in Data Science or Machine Learning projects
• Mastery of Python data ecosystem libraries
• Familiarity with Git version control
• Experience with Cloud Computing environments
• Interest or experience in Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Knowledge of financial/operational topics such as credit, fraud, pricing, supply chain, or logistics
