Database Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day oversight for your team by delegating and prioritizing task execution
• Oversee technical strategy and vision for the service catalog
• Work closely with Project Managers and Scrum Masters on project timelines and resource requirements
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement activities
• Oversee personnel management including recruitment, hiring, and mentoring
• Provide oversight for incidents and stakeholder communication

Requirements

• BS/BA and 8+ years of experience in an IT-related discipline
• Experience leading technical teams and managing technology service portfolios
• Hands-on experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and WebLogic
• Experience with cloud migrations and service delivery
• Proficiency in Agile and project management practices
• Working knowledge of ITIL principles
• Strong customer and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry certifications in RHEL, Solaris, Unix, cloud, ITIL, or Agile
• Experience in federal government or healthcare environments
