Deputy Communications Director

About the Company

Third Plateau manages the Democracy Communications Collaborative (DCC), which empowers pro-democracy forces across the ideological spectrum to build durable public support for liberal democracy and democratic values through communications.

Responsibilities

• Advise and support a network of 100+ DCC partner organizations dedicated to protecting and improving American democracy
• Collaborate with colleagues, partner organizations, and vendors to develop shared resources for pro-democracy communicators
• Develop public opinion research and messaging resources
• Execute persuasion campaigns and manage vendors

Requirements

• Experience executing persuasion campaigns
• Experience working with public opinion research
• Experience managing vendors
• Strong facilitation, writing, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with a high degree of independence

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within ideologically diverse coalitions or teams
