Director, IT Security

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of cybersecurity platforms including SIEM, EDR/XDR, IAM, and vulnerability management
• Manage a team of security engineers and analysts
• Evaluate and recommend new security platforms and tools
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and budgets for cybersecurity tooling
• Establish change control and configuration management practices
• Partner with security SMEs and other IT teams to ensure platform effectiveness
• Develop and track KPIs for platform health and operational success
• Report on platform status, risks, and roadmap to the Deputy CISO

Requirements

• CISSP, CompTIA SecurityX, GIAC, or equivalent technical certification
• 5-7 years of relevant experience
• 2-3 years of leadership experience
• Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or equivalent
• Hands-on experience administering cybersecurity platforms like SIEM, EDR/XDR, IAM, or network security tools
• Practical experience building threat-based cybersecurity programs
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
