About the Company

Blackbird Health is clinician-founded, owned, and operated by dedicated professionals. We deliver virtual and in-person mental health services across Pennsylvania, Virginia, and New Jersey, focusing on a whole-child approach to pediatric mental health care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a cohort of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and other medical professionals
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for children, adolescents, and young adults
• Ensure medical services comply with all relevant behavioral health regulations and standards
• Collaborate with psychotherapists, diagnosticians, and families to provide integrated care
• Build and maintain relationships with external medical providers and agencies
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and lead performance management
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new medical staff

Requirements

• Master's Degree from an accredited nursing program
• PMHNP-BC certification
• Active PMHNP/APRN license in Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Maryland
• At least 3 years of post-licensure experience as a PMHNP, including pediatric or adolescent mental health
• At least 3 years of experience in an administrative or leadership role in behavioral health
• Strong clinical knowledge of evidence-based practices in pediatric psychiatry
• Proficiency with Google Suite, EMR systems, and virtual platforms
