Engineering Manager - Site Reliability

Responsibilities

• Define the framework for setting SLOs and error budgets across product teams
• Own blameless post-mortems and root-cause fixes
• Implement production readiness reviews for all new deployments
• Improve Datadog observability coverage, including alerts and dashboards
• Hire and build the Site Reliability team from the ground up
• Set the technical and cultural bar for the reliability function

Requirements

• 7-10 years of engineering experience
• At least 3 years of direct engineering management experience
• Hands-on production or reliability engineering background with pager experience
• Strong expertise in AWS and Terraform
• Experience building or running on-call rotations and incident management processes
• Strong platform observability experience
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code or Cursor

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience working in PCI DSS, SOC 2, or ISO 27001 compliant environments
