Job description

Responsibilities

  • Document current architectural state and design future-state target architectures
  • Serve as the primary technical driver for FedRAMP authorization and compliance
  • Design and enforce sustainable branching, merging, and release strategies for commercial and government environments
  • Lay architectural groundwork for AI/ML integrations
  • Architect scalable, low-latency integrations for video and telephony systems
  • Translate FedRAMP and HIPAA requirements into actionable engineering patterns
  • Mentor senior developers and tech leads to foster technical excellence
  • Conduct buy vs. build analyses and vendor evaluations

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience
  • 3+ years in an enterprise architectural role
  • Proven experience architecting software for FedRAMP authorization
  • Deep familiarity with AWS GovCloud or Azure Government
  • Expertise in cloud architectures, microservices, and API gateways
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML architectural concepts and LLM integrations
  • Experience with Zero-Trust architecture paradigms
  • Knowledge of DoD SRG compliance frameworks
