ETL Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data storage and integration components for a mission-critical federal program
• Design and implement database schemas, complex SQL queries, and stored procedures
• Monitor and optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and resource management
• Configure high-availability solutions including clustering and replication
• Oversee routine maintenance, backups, recovery procedures, and patching
• Implement disaster recovery strategies and enforce database security controls
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure database structures support ETL/ELT processes

Requirements

• Active DoD Secret Clearance (or higher)
• Extensive hands-on experience with SQL databases
• In-depth knowledge of SQL Server features (Performance Monitor, Query Analyzer)
• Experience with clustering and replication technologies (e.g., SQL Server Always On Availability Groups)
• Proficiency in database replication and load-balancing
• Experience implementing backup strategies and disaster recovery planning
• Hands-on experience with data integration and ETL tools
