Field Operations Manager

TurbineOne is building Mission-AI for the Frontlines. Our Frontline Perception System (FPS) helps military and national security operators detect threats, accelerate decision-making, and unlock the power of AI at the tactical edge. We partner directly with frontline users to deliver mission-ready capabilities in command and control, autonomy, and AI-enabled mission systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end operational workflow for Field Engineering from resourcing to execution
• Coordinate field hardware readiness including imaging, configuration, and shipping
• Create and maintain the asset-management system for all field gear
• Maintain the field knowledge base including SOPs, checklists, and AARs
• Manage communication rhythms and translate product updates into field guidance
• Build onboarding pathways and readiness requirements for Field Engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field
• 4+ years of experience in Field Operations, Technical Enablement, or Systems Engineering
• 2+ years of experience leading or managing teams
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash
• Experience supporting software in mission-critical or disconnected environments
• Understanding of networking, cloud infrastructure, and infrastructure-as-code
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Top Secret or Secret Security Clearance
• Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community software programs
• Experience with accreditation activities such as RMF, ATO, or IATT
• Experience deploying software/hardware at the tactical edge
• Familiarity with AI/ML platforms
