Responsibilities

• Own the company's budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
• Develop and maintain financial models supporting strategic planning, hiring, and investments
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages and executive dashboards
• Partner with department leaders to develop budgets and monitor spending
• Own cash flow forecasting and optimize liquidity and working capital management
• Partner with external accounting firms to oversee month-end and year-end close activities
• Develop, document, and improve financial policies, processes, and internal controls
• Support annual audits, tax filings, and other financial compliance requirements
• Build financial analyses and business cases to support strategic initiatives and pricing decisions
• Assist with board reporting, fundraising activities, and investor materials
• Evaluate financial and operational performance to identify trends and risks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, accounting, or corporate finance
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement analysis
• Advanced financial modeling skills using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Experience preparing executive-level financial reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification
• MBA or other relevant professional certification
• Experience supporting venture-backed startups or high-growth technology companies
• Experience supporting fundraising, board reporting, or investor relations
• Experience working with ERP systems and financial planning software
• Familiarity with SaaS financial metrics and subscription revenue
