Job description

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end tracking, analysis, and financial reporting for restricted donations
  • Partner with the Fundraising team to ensure accurate expense allocation
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate a global internal controls framework
  • Lead compliance initiatives including annual tax filings in Brazil and the U.S.
  • Develop and update global financial policies and identify process automation opportunities
  • Support the Vice President of Finance with investment strategy execution
  • Provide guidance and peer review of financial results
  • Communicate financial information clearly to non-financial audiences

Requirements

  • Experience in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields
  • Knowledge of financial management and accounting practices in Brazil
  • Experience with international financial practices
  • Proficiency in accounting principles and financial statements
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese (written and spoken)
  • Ability to travel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field
