Job description

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the General Ledger, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial records
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Prepare detailed balance sheet schedules and maintain the Fixed Asset Register
  • Manage payroll accounting, including the calculation of employee provisions, accruals, and End-of-Service benefits
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, local labor laws, and internal accounting policies
  • Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and support internal and external audits
  • Oversee expense management tools and ensure accurate reconciliation of employee expenses
  • Utilize ERP systems to manage financial dimensions and cost allocations

Requirements

  • Professional certification such as ACCA or CA is required
  • 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience in a corporate environment
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting frameworks
  • Proficient in MS Excel and experienced with system integrations
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365
