Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with IFRS or GAAP
• Implement robust financial controls and risk management processes to safeguard assets
• Manage tax compliance, filings, audits, and optimization strategies
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships
• Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts
• Lead, recruit, and mentor a high-performing finance team
• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure smooth and timely audits

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Group Financial Controller in a complex, multinational organization
• Strong understanding of international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and tax regulations
• Experience building finance operations and setting up financial systems for high-growth organizations
• Advanced knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems
• Strong leadership and people management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent)
• Experience in a complex, multi-entity finance environment
• Experience working with external stakeholders, auditors, or donors
• Fluency in French and/or Arabic
