Responsibilities

• Own the books across all entities, including the general ledger, chart of accounts, and multi-entity consolidation.
• Run month-end and year-end close with discipline and documentation.
• Manage financial reporting, including monthly statements, budget-to-actuals, and variance commentary.
• Oversee cash-flow reporting and forecasting, including rolling 13-week cash flow.
• Manage regulatory, tax, and compliance processes including sales and occupancy tax.
• Build and enforce accounting systems and controls using tools like QuickBooks or Sage Intacct.
• Partner with leadership, banks, and lenders on financing and capital planning.
• Identify cost savings and margin opportunities through expense discipline.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience including Controller or Accounting Manager roles.
• Proven ownership of month-end/year-end close, GAAP financial statements, and cash-flow forecasting.
• Hands-on experience with multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience in hospitality, real estate, or construction industries.
