Financial Controller

Responsibilities

• Manage all financial operations and control frameworks within the Middle East region
• Review finance hub activity to ensure accuracy of month-end P&L and Balance Sheet results
• Oversee regional payroll operations to ensure compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations
• Ensure regional compliance with all statutory and regulatory reporting requirements
• Manage stakeholder relationships with Middle East Partners and report regularly to the EMEA Financial Controller
• Drive improvements in cash collection processes and oversee regional cashflow forecasts
• Provide oversight and support for local and Group audits and investigations
• Ensure compliance with all direct and indirect taxes, including timely completion of tax returns
• Provide commercial advice on pricing and financial performance alongside Business Partners

Requirements

• Certified chartered accountant with significant post-qualification experience
• Expertise in technical accounting and statutory reporting
• Strong knowledge of direct and indirect taxation (domestic and international)
• Proven experience in financial compliance within complex and dynamic environments
• Experience managing robust financial control policies and processes
