Financial Planning Associate

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day client relationships and handle requests proactively
• Prepare for, attend, and follow up on client meetings
• Review existing financial plans to ensure they meet client needs
• Write financial planning reports for the onboarding process
• Review suitability reports and provide technical input
• Prepare detailed cashflow reports
• Liaise with admin and paraplanning teams
• Support suitability report writing during peak periods
• Attend networking events to build a professional profile
• Use AI-driven systems like Saturn for analysis and modeling

Requirements

• Level 4 qualified (through CII) in Financial Planning
• Strong understanding of financial planning processes and client service
• Technical capability in pensions, tax, cashflow modelling, and research
• Excellent communication skills and client engagement confidence
• Strong organizational skills and priority management
• Experience with CRM systems (Xplan) and strong Excel skills
