Forward Deployed Engineer

About the Company

Waniwani builds the infrastructure that distributes insurance and banking products through AI assistants. We raised an $8M seed led by Seedcamp and work with large European banks and insurers.

Responsibilities

• Run technical discovery and workshops with clients to translate needs into product requirements
• Design end-to-end integration architecture for hosted and on-premise scenarios
• Produce technical documentation required by enterprise clients
• Complete security questionnaires and handle security committees and data-residency questions
• Oversee MCP deployments implemented by a freelancer network
• Build reusable kits including scoping templates and architecture patterns

Requirements

• Technical credibility with the ability to read code and reason about integrations and the agent stack
• Experience leading technical conversations with enterprise clients
• Ability to drive security and procurement processes to completion
• Experience working in or near regulated industries like finance or insurance
• Ability to work across sales, ops, and engineering teams
• Interest in the MCP and agent stack
• Willingness to travel occasionally across Europe and the US

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to visit Paris occasionally is a plus
