Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of trusts and estates matters from client consultations through document execution
• Co-design Jay's operating system by translating practice judgment into workflows and drafting protocols
• Shape the productized offering and design systems for an AI-enabled law practice
• Recruit and mentor the first associates and partners
• Ensure the highest standards of professional responsibility in an AI-native environment

Requirements

• Senior Trusts & Estates attorney with at least ten years of sophisticated planning experience
• Licensed to practice in California or New York
• Experience building a legal practice
• Strong focus on client experience and serving the middle market

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with legal technology
• Experience with multi-state practice
• Experience managing high-volume work
