Founding Senior Computer Vision Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own the shared CV platform end-to-end including camera ingestion, detection, tracking, OCR, and classification
• Raise accuracy on sports models with real users
• Architect the second industry's deployment on the same stack
• Manage model selection, training strategy, and annotation operations
• Provide technical leadership for the engineering team

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building production-ready computer vision systems
• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch
• Hands-on experience with modern detection and tracking (YOLO family, ByteTrack/DeepSORT)
• Experience with video pipelines (RTSP/IP cameras, ffmpeg)
• Experience building datasets and running annotation operations
• Experience fine-tuning open-source models and implementing annotation-review loops
• Ownership temperament and ability to work with vague operational goals

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with OCR, action recognition, or pose estimation in production
• Background in sports, retail, or industrial camera analytics
• Experience with edge deployment (Jetson or similar)
• Literacy in camera and IoT hardware (PoE networking, ONVIF/RTSP, NVRs)

About the Company

Our client provides AI match analysis for youth football using fixed cameras to detect events, track players, and read jersey numbers. The platform is currently in a pilot academy in Dubai and is expanding into a second industry.
