Fractional Fund/Portfolio Accountant

Responsibilities

• Price fund portfolios and process all accounting entries including corporate actions, contributions, and withdrawals
• Prepare daily, monthly, and quarterly reconciliations for cash, market value, and accruals with Administrators and Prime Brokers
• Resolve trade breaks and ensure accurate accounting for all cash and fund positions
• Review Administrator NAV Packages and update portfolio accounting systems
• Liaise with fund administrators, auditors, and tax preparers regarding fund accruals, expenses, and incentive allocations
• Prepare financial statements, partner allocations, and capital statements
• Assist in the preparation of investor requests, reports, and internal financial analysis
• Perform accounting functions related to wire transactions and client reporting deliverables
• Conduct best practice reviews and develop effective action plans for clients
• Create and implement policies, procedures, and control measures

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum of four years of professional experience in Portfolio or Fund Accounting or middle office operations
• Experience within a Hedge Fund, Family Office, or Alternative Investment Management firm
• Proficiency with portfolio and fund accounting software (e.g., Eze, Advent, Aladdin, Portia)
• Knowledge of multi-asset sectors including public equity, private equity, and fixed income
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
