French into Portuguese Financial Banking Translator

Responsibilities

• Translate and copyedit content from French into Portuguese
• Ensure original meaning is conveyed in a manner that is readable and understandable to the target audience
• Handle content types specifically related to Banking and Financial Operations
• Perform both translation and review tasks as required by the project

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience translating and reviewing content in banking or financial operations
• Native fluency in Portuguese
• Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent professional experience
• Proficiency in various translation and terminology tools
• Ability to follow strict instructions, such as character restrictions
• Strong communication skills to explain the rationale behind translation choices

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working with Financial, Economic, or Banking documents
• Experience working within a multi-vendor environment
