Responsibilities

  • Own the Middle East growth strategy across target markets, segments, and priority verticals.
  • Drive regional revenue outcomes across new business, expansion, and strategic customer opportunities.
  • Build local traction through direct sales, partnerships, and ecosystem development.
  • Develop relationships with agencies, technology partners, and Meta ecosystem players.
  • Localize Wati’s market approach by applying deep understanding of regional customer expectations and business norms.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, CSM, Product, and RevOps to ensure seamless regional execution.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in commercial leadership, GTM, sales, or regional management.
  • Deep expertise in the Middle East market, specifically within the UAE, KSA, and broader GCC.
  • Proven track record of building revenue in new or developing markets.
  • Experience scaling SaaS, MarTech, CPaaS, or B2B technology products.
  • Strong customer-facing skills, including executive-level negotiations and demonstrations.
  • High level of operating discipline regarding pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, ambiguous, and entrepreneurial environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Arabic language capability.
  • Experience with the WhatsApp Business API or the Meta ecosystem.
  • Experience building a market from 0 to 1.
  • Existing professional network across Middle East SaaS, agencies, or e-commerce communities.
