Geospatial (GIS) Solutions Architect-Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and architect geospatial solutions using ESRI toolsets including ArcGIS Desktop, Pro, Online, and Enterprise
• Develop technical specifications, diagrams, and documentation for development teams
• Lead development of custom geospatial applications using ArcGIS API for JavaScript, ArcPy, and ArcObjects
• Integrate ESRI solutions with enterprise systems and databases
• Design and implement geodatabases enforcing data integrity and geospatial standards
• Plan and execute deployment of ESRI solutions on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
• Apply advanced geospatial analysis and create dynamic visualizations, dashboards, and web maps
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to stakeholders
• Optimize performance of ESRI-based applications and ensure solution reliability

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geospatial Sciences, Geography, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5 years of experience with ESRI toolsets, products, and technologies
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or .NET
• In-depth understanding of geodatabase design and spatial data formats
• Experience deploying and managing ArcGIS Enterprise
• Knowledge of webhooks, APIs, and REST services
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Ability to undergo a government-issued background investigation
