Geotechnical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical engineering tasks as part of multidisciplinary project teams
• Collect, analyze, and interpret geotechnical investigation data
• Carry out routine engineering calculations, analyses, and technical assessments
• Prepare geotechnical reports, design calculations, and technical specifications
• Propose practical engineering solutions for technical issues during project execution
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to graduate and entry-level engineers
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, contractors, and consultants

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
• 2–8 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering
• Experience in geotechnical investigations, design, and construction support
• Knowledge of contracts related to geotechnical investigations and construction works
• Proficiency in geotechnical investigations and parameter interpretation

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Geotechnical Engineering
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE) registration
• Professional registration in Qatar, Bahrain, or the UAE
• Experience with 3D Finite Element Analysis (FEM)
• Experience with software such as PLAXIS 2D, Slope/W, or RS2
