Graduate - Transportation Planner

Responsibilities

• Assist in data collection and analysis for various transport projects
• Review and build transport models using industry-standard modelling tools
• Support the planning and evaluation of future transport schemes and master plans
• Help prepare technical reports, presentations, bids, and proposals
• Attend meetings and workshops with clients and multi-disciplinary team members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or Geography (Master's degree is an asset)
• Recent graduate (graduated within the last 24 months)
• Minimum GPA of 3.2
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrable interest in developing a career in Transport Planning

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous internship experience related to transport planning
• Completion of transport planning or traffic engineering modules in university coursework
• Membership in a professional institution such as CIHT, ICE, or TPS
