About the Company

Sudan's Policy Advisory Group (SPAG) is an independent, voluntary-based, and non-partisan group of Sudanese experts providing practitioner perspectives on emerging social, political, and development contexts. Sudan Vision 2030 is a policy-based project aiming to transform Sudan into a leading country in Africa by the year 2030.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision and strategic direction of human resources management
• Manage recruitment processes including job descriptions, screening, and interview facilitation
• Provide workforce trend reporting and insights to senior management
• Identify risks and ensure quality assurance for people processes and systems
• Support business process mapping and development of internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Develop and manage candidate rosters and talent pools
• Implement recruitment marketing approaches and staffing initiatives

Requirements

• Experience in results-based project implementation and management
• Experience managing teams and capacity development
• Prior experience with international development, non-profits, or start-up environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• First-level degree in environmental studies, development, programme management, or meteorology
• Fluency in spoken and written Arabic and English

• Ability to manage complex tasks and prioritize competing demands
• Proven ability to work independently and take initiative
