Responsibilities

• Own and optimize the People tech stack including HRIS, ATS, and onboarding tools
• Build policy and documentation frameworks such as employee handbooks, job architecture, and compensation bands
• Design a remote-first onboarding experience and ensure multi-state compliance
• Lead engagement, internal communications, and culture programming
• Manage and develop a Talent Acquisition hire to execute day-to-day recruiting
• Own recruiting infrastructure including ATS configuration and interview loop design
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and sensitive situations
• Partner with managers on performance coaching and team dynamics

Requirements

• 6–10 years in People/HR at fast-moving startups
• Proven experience selecting and implementing HRIS, ATS, and People tooling from scratch
• Automation-first mindset with experience building self-service workflows
• Strong operational and program management discipline
• Experience with remote-first distributed teams
• High EQ and ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion
