Head of Security Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Security Engineering team, providing technical oversight and strategic direction
• Architect and implement robust security controls to protect GFiber's core network infrastructure
• Leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation creatively to solve complex security problems and streamline SecEng operations
• Partner cross-functionally with other engineering and operations teams to embed security best practices across the organization

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 10 years of experience in network security or security engineering
• Experience designing and implementing security architectures
• 3 years of experience managing and leading engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications

• CISSP, CISM, or similar industry-recognized security certifications
• Demonstrated creativity in applying AI tools to solve engineering or security problems
