Head, Scientific Research Unit

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of the research agenda, policy briefs, and analytical reports
• Provide inputs to policy research to inform national development strategies
• Ensure cutting-edge knowledge production and dissemination through networking and lessons learned
• Support innovation and incubation in PMO governance areas
• Manage research partnerships with institutes, civil society, and other relevant bodies
• Oversee the outputs of the Scientific Research staff

Requirements

• Advanced degree in scientific research, policy, economic studies, administration, or related field
• Experience in results-based research projects
• Experience in managing teams and capacity development
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Fluency in Arabic and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with international development or non-profit organizations
• Experience working in a start-up business environment
