Help Desk Specialist I

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and on-site technical support in a clinical setting
• Enter, prioritize, and escalate service tickets via the ticket system
• Install and configure radiology software packages such as PACS and Voice Recognition
• Resolve general workstation issues including operating systems and hardware compatibility
• Maintain appropriate technical documentation for support and training
• Monitor queue email request folders to meet department needs
• Proactively identify areas for workflow or application improvement

Requirements

• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• One year of technical helpdesk experience
• Experience with workstation, network, and cloud technology
• Knowledge of workstation hardware and software support
• Valid state driver's license and proof of insurance
• Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test

Preferred Qualifications

• Fundamental knowledge of healthcare or radiology application functionality
• Experience supporting RIS, PACS, or Voice Recognition systems
